Mother-in-law making false allegations to court about me being abuser to her daughter and grandchild, advice?

Is your mother-in-law making these allegations to the court or to the police? The only way the court would be involved is if you are already in the court system being charged with something or you are in divorce proceedings.

You really need to get an attorney. If you choose not to and it looks like you will be charged, your wife could go wherever your mother-in-law is making these allegations and convince them she and your daughter are not being abused. They will insist on talking to her alone to alleviate their suspicions that you are coercing her. HOWEVER, If she is anything less than 100% convincing, you could end up in much worse trouble by her doing this. You really should just hire an attorney and let them handle this.

**EDIT: I just read your Additional Comments. You still need to get an attorney. Nothing you can do by yourself will faze her. An attorney threatening a libel or slander lawsuit probably would. Do NOT assume that whoever she's making these allegations to doesn't believe her. Nipping it in the bud now could prevent lots of problems and expense later.Mother-in-law making false allegations to court about me being abuser to her daughter and grandchild, advice?
The only advice anyone can give you here is get an attorney. If you can't afford one and charges are brought against you, ask the court to appoint one for you.

None of us know the background information, so we really can't help you anymore than that.Mother-in-law making false allegations to court about me being abuser to her daughter and grandchild, advice?
STOP BEATING YOUR WIFE AND KID!!!!!!!!!!!
First, I don't know you, so I'll take what you are saying as true.

Second, what does her daughter, your wife/girlfriend say about it? If they are utterly false, then BOTH of you can go to an attorney and take care of her ';false'; allegations.

But I think there is more..
uh ask for a simple drug test and that will resolve it
Hire a lawyer immediately.

If there is a criminal case pending, you are entitled to a public defender.

If this is a divorce/child custody case, there should be a legal aid agency that can advise you.
