False statements and them going to court...?

can I just tell my husbands lawyer that I had made a false statement and have the charges be dropped and not get in trouble or loose my son for making a false statement?False statements and them going to court...?
False statement?? Better use the words ';I was confused due to stress';.

Clear this up fast and say you are sorry. Police don't apreciate when people lie on purpose, and they can smell lies so fix it now. Admit it was a ';mistake'; and say you are sorry.

Get a lawyer if you feel you need help in cleaning this mess before it's too late.False statements and them going to court...?
I am presuming that this is a domestic violence situation, and that you made a false statement to the police which in turn got him arrested.

Even telling his attorney (which you shouldn't be talking to) that you made a false statement, won't get the charges dropped, The DA can still carry on with the charges.

You're in a bind, do you tell the truth and admit to lying in the first place? Or do you stick with the lie and watch your husband go to jail for something he didn't do?

Tough choice, only you can make it.
Depends on the circumstances under which the false statement was made and whether your husband or his lawyer are vindictive.
If you made a false statement, it's better to admit it than to have it proved false in court.
