(important)what will happen if i give a false confession in court?

i know people that are 16 n 15 are in jeuve for murder the ones that 16 might get a life sentence and hes just a kid but obviously the police/goverment don't give a **** so i have to go to court for their trail

so i cant let that happen he was one of my closest friends

if i say i did the murder and i paid them off to take the blame

wont they have to dismiss the trail cause i did that and free the 15 yr old and later release the 16 and wont they arrest me ? and if they do i would say im insane and i got it from there.(important)what will happen if i give a false confession in court?
If you give a false confession in court AND the court believes your testimony, your friends will be declared not guilty and they cannot be tried again. But YOU will go to prison, probably for life, as you will be treated as an adult. And you will probably face further charges of witness tampering and obstruction of justice if you say you paid them off to take the blame for you. And even then, your friends still will be punished, but for perjury and obstruction of justice.

And if the court does not believe you...which is most likely as you will have to say what you did and how you did it...which you can't know if you weren't there...and then the evidence won't back you up...the court could have you charged with perjury and obstruction of justice. And then they will send you to prison along side of your friends. And then when you get out of prison, you will have a criminal record as a felon and you won't even be able to visit your friends in prison!

Additionally, you can't just say you are insane, you and your lawyer must prove it and that is extremely hard to do, especially when the prosecution brings in all those witnesses who will testify to your sanity. And even if you do manage it, you will spend the REST of your life in an asylum for the criminally insane.

I know you don't want to see your friend in prison for the rest of his life but you know he did it and so he deserves to be punished. But do you want to spend the rest of your life in prison for HIS crime? Do you really love your friend so much that you are willing to do his sentence for him? And would he do the same for you? I don't think so. You are talking about YOUR life here...and you are not thinking clearly. What you are proposing to do will RUIN your life...so DON'T DO IT!!! Good luck!(important)what will happen if i give a false confession in court?
Definitely watching too much TV. Are you willing to risk a getting a life sentence so your friend doesn't get one for committing murder? If there's no evidence against your friend, they will have a hard time convicting him. If there is evidence against him and you take the blame, they will know you are lying and then you'll both be locked up. (And as a side note, the insanity defense has to be backed by a psychologist and usually doesn't hold up.)
You will be punished for perjury, (lying) and have a nice blotch on your record. Good luck finding a job with that out there.
lmao, you watch too much tv kid. That's not how it works.
uuhhhhh, no no no. Your are grossly misled. If you know these people are guilty why on earth would you still be friends with them first of all?!?! Secondly, lying in court is a serious offense to which you would most certainly be punished for doing. Thirdly, you can not just say you are insane or no one would ever go to jail. They'd all just say they are insane. You have to be thoroughly looked over by psychiatrists who, believe me, are MUCH smarter than you are. Pleas of insanity rarely win cases. The ';police/government'; very much do care if these people are just kids. No one can just go around killing people. No one has the right to do that, not even the government(s) that do kill people. If ';just a kid'; is killing people imagine what they may do as a mature adult. We are all here together and cannot tolerate murder. Did you learn about the ten commandments???
